Krystle Parks
Owner & Teacher
Ever since I was young I have had a passion for art, but struggled to learn on my own. I grew up in Lando O’ Lakes where there weren’t many places to learn about art.
My parents were very supportive of my desire to create art and I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Tampa.
Since I wasn’t naturally good at art it took persistence and motivation to be the artist I am today. I feel this makes me a better teacher because I understand what it’s like to not be great at something right away. I know with a positive attitude and the correct instruction anyone can create art they are proud of. I have also worked many jobs relating to art which makes me well-rounded for my students that have questions about possible jobs they could have in the future. Photography, Framing, digital design, and murals are just a few of them.
I also enjoy being a role model for my younger students and providing an environment they feel they are supported and encouraged to try new things. I’ve wanted to be a teacher my whole life and I’m extremely happy to do what I can.
